New bonus points rule for H2H
Hey all, after crunching some stats from last year, pops and I determined that the top ten managers included a disproportionate number of people who scored highly from their H2H leagues. The middle 10 was about even. And the bottom 10 had a disproportionate amount their points from the PNTS only league. What this means is that a great performance in H2H was more likely to see you in the top ten than a great performance in PNTS. For this reason we have dialed back the number of bonus points you can earn in H2H. The breakdown this year will be: 2pnts for a win
1pnt for scoring 125
1pnt for scoring 145 Max points for a winner will be 4 points per game, and max points for a loser will be 2 points per game. We will still utilize the multiplier to normalize the H2H league points awarded to match the total points awarded in the PNTS leagues.
this will flatten the bell-curve out a little and move it left for more proportional scoring
