Good day fantasy managers!!!! Our season is over for both Grand Prix and HardCorps Dynasty (check out the season recaps here and here for Grand Prix, here and here for Dynasty) But....I have some exciting news..... WE ARE NOT DONE WITH FANTASY FOOTBALL!!   That's right people, this will be the first year of the playoff daily fantasy competitions. With the expansion of legal gambling Yahoo has refined their single game fantasy mechanics (they have some big money head to head matchup games available, it's crazy) and the format is quite fun! Dane's NFL Playoff Free For All: Each player (using the email you signed up for Yahoo fantasy football with) will go to a league I create. You will be asked to choose your players just like you would setting your starting lineup in our regular play. The interface is a bit different, but it's the same concept. Each manager can pick whoever they want from the players playing that week (this means two teams could be exactly the same). The exception is that there is a team budget. The best players will cost you a bit more than others. You do well by finding the right mix of "cheap" players that outperform their cost and "expensive" players thst take in loads of points. The league will run through Conference Championship week AND Superbowl week. 50 dollars is the buy-in. Payouts will vary based on number of players. I will pay the top score from Championship Week and Superbowl Week, and the Top "X" scores for the two weeks combined with X being determined once entries are closed and based on the number of participants. I will post here once entries close. Ties will be split accordingly and count towards the "X". E.G. If there is a three way tie for first, and X ends up being 5, I will split the top three payouts with the top three spots evenly, and spots 4 and 5 will get regular payouts. If 4 and 5 are also tied, I will split 4 and 5 winnings between them evenly. To get started respond in the comments below.
